Ajmer World TB Day Celebrated Tuberculosis is one of the most dreaded and common
major infectious diseases today, infecting two billion people or
approximately one-third of the world’s population. The World TB Day,
observed annually on 24th March, is an occasion for people around the
world to raise awareness about international health threat presented by
TB. This occasion was remembered andcelebrated in our Social Service Centre,
Madar. Bro. Neol Pinto is Ordinained Deacon Brother Noel Pinto S.J. was ordained a deacon on the 4th
March 2006 in Delhi. The Archbishop of Delhi Most Rev. Vincent M Concessao
solemnized the occasion. There were 48 brothers who were ordained as
deacons in the spirit filled ceremony. Br. Noel is the son of Mr. Patrick Meena Pinto, parishioners of Immaculate Conception
Cathedral Ajmer. As a young boy Noel was regular for Mass and even before
receiving his first holy Communion, served at the altar. At that age he
could not reach up to the altar but that did not deter him from being an
altar server. He stood on his toes so that he could reach up to the altar.
His devotion to Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart grew through the years.He
