Our Diocesan
Vocation Centre (St. Theres's Seminary) was established in the year
1929 as a Major Seminary but later in 1940, it was converted into a
Minor Seminary. The studies in the Minor Seminary last generally for
four years. In the first year greater attention is paid on learning
languages. the second and the third year students attend school or
college. If a fourth year is needed it is completely devoted to
spiritual formation and also language.

Home
History : Sensing the needs of the older priests who had resided in
Bishop's House so far, the Bishop thought of building a home for
them in the Seminary premises, so that they could be better looked
after. In order to achieve this objective, six rooms, a kitchen, a
refectory and a room for a sister were built and the home was
blessed by the Bishop on 28th May, 1995. In 1998 a first floor
consisting of seven rooms was constructed and blessed on 1st
October, 1998 by the Bishop. At present there are four inmates.

| St.
Anselm's Press
Founded in 1917 by Fr. Anatole, Treadle machines were
used for printing. Fr. Sebastian Carvalho took over in 1949. The
printing machines were electrified in 1968. Fr. Cyriac Vally took
over as Director of the press in 1991. In 1992 an Offset Printing
Machine replaced the letter press printing machines. The computer,
film and plate making departments of the press besides lamination
and offset colour printing have made it the most patronized press in
Ajmer. It is expected that our institutions in the Diocese make use
of the press for printing thier calendars, diaries and other works.
